Going for a bit of a ride

Today is my Parents 43rd wedding anniversary. Smiling over coffee and memories shared of their first years together and the laughter it took! Coffee and a warm fire place was a nice place to spend much of the early part of the day. It is cold outside with a dusting of snow.

Dad put together some biscuits and gravy while Em's helped me navigate some new hire paper work surrounding Unisys.

Afterwards I took the family out on a little drive in my new car. What a treat it was to share it with Mom and Dad how they smiled tooling down the road.

Off to Denver in a while to share some of my past with Emily and have dinner with a old friend.

A simple evening by the fire

Arrived this morning after a midnight drive through Nebraska; the plan was to avoid the first snow of Minneapolis and sneak into Northern Colorado before a cold front. The full moon lit our way as Chestnut slept soundly in the back of the little car. My first road trip home with my girl friend. A little of anxiety and it will go well.

My girlfriend and I are Transgendered, and my parents are wonderfully supportive, they weathered all of the change with me beginning 10 years ago, no this should be easy and simple. Relaxing next to a fire with a home made beer and Emily is knitting.

Some chilli and then something simple to watch.
